Equipment Needs

Provided by HCYP for all Divisions

  • Catchers equipment (shin guards, chest protector, mask, catcher's mitt)  ** NOTE: Due to COVID restrictions, each team will be provided 2 sets of catchers gear - additional information to be provided to each coach

  • Baseballs (Rookie - RIF Level 1, Pinto - RIF Level 5, All other divisions - Standard)

NOT provided by HCYP for all Divisions

  • Bat

  • Glove

  • Helmet

  • Cleats

* For Rookie players, it is recommended that they wear shorts/pants and cleats/sneakers that are more geared toward their comfort.

** Male players only.

 

NOTE: Pants and socks are only provided during the Spring seasons

NOTE: HCYP allows any USSSA or USA bat for play in our leagues

provided they are within the specifications noted in the table above
