Professional Baseball

Jeremy Arocho

Jeremy was was drafted in the 27th round by the Los Angeles Dodgers in the 2017 MLB amateur draft. Jeremy was a 2017 graduate of Old Mill High School in Anne Arundel County.

Mike Anton

Mike played for Virginia Military Institute and was drafted in the 12th Round of the 2007 MLB Draft by the Los Angeles Angels.
Jeremy Arocho

Casey Barron

Casey played for the University of Maryland and was drafted in the 34th Round of the 2007 MLB Draft by the Milwaukee Brewers.

Ryan Kemp

Ryan played at St. Joseph's University, was drafted in the 2011 MLB Draft by the Cincinnati Reds. He currently pitches for the Class A Dayton Dragons in the Midwest League.

John Kuchno

John was selected in the 2012 MLB Rule 4 Draft in the 18th Round by the Pittsburgh Pirates. John had been playing for Ohio State University prior to his selection. The Ellicott City native signed with Pittsburgh and began his professional career with the State College Spikes.

Robert Lucido

Robert was drafted in the 40th round of the 2015 MLB draft. Robert, a 22 year old catcher out of Amherst College, was drafted by the Toronto Blue Jays.

Matt McPhearson

Matt was selected in the 2013 MLB Rule 4 Draft. Matt, a resident of Columbia, MD, was selected in the 4th round by the Arizona Diamondbacks. He had the choice of signing professionally or accepting a baseball scholarship to the University of Miami (FL). Matt opted to sign with the Diamondbacks and has been assigned to their team in the Arizona Rookie League.

Mike O'Connor

Mike O'Connor attended George Washington University and was selected in the 7th Round of the 2002 MLB Draft by the Montreal Expos. He has played for the Washington Nationals, San Diego Padres, Kansas City Royals, New York Mets and New York Yankees.

Peter Solomon

Former HCYP Raiders pitcher, Peter Solomon, was drafted in the 4th round by the Houston Astros in the 2017 MLB amateur draft. Peter finished his junior year playing baseball at the University of Notre Dame. Peter was a 2014 graduate of Mount Saint Joseph High School in Baltimore.

Scott Swinson

Scott Swinson played for George Washington University/University of Maryland; RHP drafted in the 46th round of the 2009 MLB Draft by the Baltimore Orioles.

Bruce Zimmerman

Former HCYP Raiders pitcher, was drafted in the 5th round by the Atlanta Braves in the 2017 MLB amateur draft. He is currently in the Milwaukee Brewers organization. Bruce attended Towson University and transferred to University of Mt. Olive where he pitched at both schools. Bruce was a 2012 graduate of Loyola High School in Baltimore.
